Proposed change in playing arrangements

1 With effect from 1^st October 2011, otherwise than in exceptional circumstances approved by the Bridge, Chess and Backgammon sub-committee, new Candidates for Membership of MCC:

(a) will not be selected to represent the Club in inter-club matches;

(b) will be permitted to play on Club Nights only with an Entitled Player

until they become Associate Members.

2 Entitled Players will be:

(a) all Full and Associate Members;

(b) Candidates who are registered on or before 30 September 2011;

(c) the partners (in the non-bridge sense) of the above.

3 While Entitled Players are welcome to bring guests to play at Lord’s, those approaching them to solicit an invitation to do so, should be discouraged.
