The Bridge Society provides facilities for the playing of bridge within MCC and by teams representing MCC in a friendly atmosphere and at all times consistently with the spirit and nature of MCC as a sporting organisation. The Society plays in the Members' Bar in the Pavilion at Lord's each Tuesday and arranges a variety of other Bridge activities for MCC Members, Candidates and their guests.

The Society’s activities include:

Duplicate pairs on Tuesday evenings - Masterpoints Trophy - The Lord's Trophy competition for Teams of Four - The Rubber Bridge Competition - Representative matches against other clubs - An annual Mixed Swiss Teams tournament held in the Long Room - Annual Dinner.

The Bridge, Chess and Backgammon sub-committee has approved a change in the playing entitlement of those becoming Candidates after 30th September 2011. Click HERE for the details.

The 2012 Lord's Trophy competition for teams of 4 (with a seeded draw for team-mates) will be played on Sunday 4th March 2012.
